This is a partnership project with a Dutch agri-agency called Agriterra, based in the Netherlands. The project aims at improving productivity and development of viable agribusiness enterprises at grass roots in the project target groups.
The project focuses on facilitating increased productivity, farmers’ capacities on agribusiness skills and entrepreneurship development to ensure food and income security among small scale farmers; increasing access to market for agro-produce and financial services through linking farmers with market and financial institutions and strengthening the capacity of middle level network for service delivery.
The project is implemented in Hai district of Kilimanjaro region, Mbogwe and Shinyanga Rural districts in Shinyanga region and Mvomero and Morogoro rural districts in Morogoro region.
